Fascists recommend ‘Dispatches’ documentary

bnp-islam-poster“We rarely recommend that our readers should watch television – a mind numbing activity at the best of times but we feel compelled to suggest that readers tune into Channel 4 this evening (7th) for a Dispatches programme which tackles one of the most difficult and controversial questions facing our country today: ‘to what extent do Muslims in Britain pose a threat to this country and its values?’

“Jon Snow presents findings which C4 admit are ‘startling’. Once again we witness an establishment organisation playing ‘catch up’ to the BNP [which] was ahead of the game. As long ago as 2001 we were warning of the threat radical Islam poses to Britain and British society. In 2004 BNP Leader Nick Griffin addressed a meeting in West Yorkshire where he described Islam as a wicked faith and faces a retrial in the autumn for sounding this warning.

“The programme will help raise awareness of the serious threat we now have in our midst thanks to an open door immigration policy from successive Labour and Tory governments.”

Fascists sideline anti-semitism in favour of Islamophobia

BNP Islam Out of Britain“The BNP has moved on in recent years, casting off the leg-irons of conspiracy theories and the thinly veiled anti-Semitism which has held this party back for two decades. The real enemies of the British people are home grown Anglo-Saxon Celtic liberal-leftists who seek to … impose multiculturalism on a reluctant indigenous population, and the Crescent Horde – the endless wave of Islamics who are flocking to our shores to bring our island nations into the embrace of their barbaric desert religion.”

BNP news article, 28 July 2006

In an accompanying article, fascist “theoretician” Lee Barnes outlines the BNP’s position in relation to Israel’s war on Lebanon:

“As a Nationalist I can say that I support Israel 100% in their dispute with Hezbollah. In fact, I hope they wipe Hezbollah off the Lebanese map and bomb them until they leave large greasy craters in the cities where their Islamic extremist cantons of terror once stood. The 21st Century is the Islamic Century. Unless we start to resist the threat of Islamic extremism then within 100 years the West will have become Eurabia.”

BNP backs Bright

Predictably, the fascists are full of admiration for Bright’s Channel 4 documentary, Who Speaks for Muslims?, which of course fitted in neatly with their own propaganda about the threat posed by mainstream Muslim organisations in Britain: “Martin Bright of the New Statesman illustrated how the MCB which purports to be a ‘moderate’ organisation actually represents the most extreme and militant Islamic fundamentalists with links to the Jamaat al Islami [sic] and the Muslim Brotherhood which is itself linked to terror groups and has defended them.”

‘Clash of civilisations’ at Alton Towers

“The clash of civilisations is not a ‘possible’ scenario away in the future but is taking place right here and right now and while in some cases that clash manifests itself in ugly acts of murderous violence such as the 7/7 London bombings, the 9/11 attack on New York or yesterday’s Islamic attack on Hindus in India, it also appears in other ways which while not murderous or barbaric are troubling, inconvenient or costly. Take, for example, the story of a young couple whose wedding plans have been thrown into chaos following an administrative bungle by staff at Alton Towers.”

The BNP have another go at the at the hiring of Alton Towers by the Islamic Leisure organisation – a story that is rather undermined by the fact that one of the victims of the adminstrative error evidently rejects the fascists’ Islamophobic spin: “It’s not the Muslim event – it’s not their fault that Alton Towers have double booked. The people with Islamic Leisure want their day as much as we do. I don’t blame them at all. But Alton Towers shouldn’t have done this. They should at least have rung us to discuss it.”

To be fair to the fascists, they are prepared to quote this, which is more than can be said for The Sun.

BNP in Barking & Dagenham

“The man from the BNP breezes up in a white linen suit looking like some latter-day Martin Bell and says: ‘Can you believe it? Two of our schools are having Muslim days tomorrow – on 7/7! It’s like chucking mud in people’s faces’.”

The Guardian profiles Richard Barnbrook, fascist councillor in Barking & Dagenham.

Nazi backs Nick Cohen

Kevin Scott of Civil Liberty, the BNP front organisation, writes: “We are NOT suggesting that all Muslims are terrorist or terrorists sympathisers. But the current terrorism is inspired by Islam and its fantasies of world domination. Most terror acts in Europe have been inspired by Islam. As Nick Cohen of the Observer newspaper has pointed out such terrorism should be called ‘Islamic terrorism’.”

Civil Liberty website, 7 July 2006

Not content with endorsing Cohen, Scott also argues, in words that could have been written by David T of Harry’s Place: “… the Muslim Brotherhood is banned in several Muslim countries. We are concerned at the public recognition to some MB leaders such as Al Qaradawi who was welcomed by Ken Livingstone. We are very concerned at the activities of the Muslim Association of Britain which has links with the Brotherhood.”

The Sun and Nazis combine to incite anti-Muslim prejudice

“BRITAIN’S biggest fun park has sparked a race row – with a MUSLIMS-ONLY day. Up to 28,000 are expected at Alton Towers on September 17 when there will be no music, booze or gambling. Instead there will be prayer areas, Muslim stalls and all food served will be HALAL. Organisers Islamic Leisure have billed it the First National Muslim Fun Day and tickets can only be bought through their website. Non-Muslims phoning the Staffordshire park have been refused tickets. One, George Hughes, 19, who rang up for 15 tickets for a pal’s birthday, said: ‘I couldn’t believe it. It’s the only day we can go, yet I can’t because I’m not Muslim. Can you imagine all the fuss if there was a Christians-only day?'”

Nazis condemn ‘effete liberals’ of ACPO

“The war on terror, a euphuism [sic] for dealing with those militant Islamics hell bent on bringing death and destruction to the West, has received a killer blow from Britain’s own top cops. The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) has announced plans to assign family liaison officers to assist relatives of terrorist suspects arrested by anti-terrorist units….

“The effete liberal response to dealing with those intent on murdering western infidels is a far cry from the actions of others in a similar position. US Colonel Alexander Rodgers was fighting Muslim extremists in the Phillippines in 1911. He introduced a system of burying all dead Muslim juramentados in a common grave with the carcasses of slaughtered pigs. This relatively simple device resulted in the withdrawal of juramentados to sections not held by Rodgers.

“This latest bid to appease the fifth column of home grown militants reveals how those charged with safe-guarding our streets and the majority community from death, injury and damage, are thoroughly unfit for their role.”

Geert Wilders blasts Queen Beatrix over mosque visit

geert_wildersRacist Dutch MP Geert Wilders has attacked Queen Beatrix and Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende following the monarch’s visit to a mosque.

Queen Beatrix removed her shoes on entering the Mobarak Mosque in The Hague on 3 June and refrained from shaking hands with Muslim men in accordance with their strict religious beliefs. The visit was to mark the 50th anniversary of the building of the mosque. Wilders said on Wednesday he was angry with the Queen and Balkenende. In an extraordinary outburst, he accused them of “dhimmi behaviour”.

Balkenende got involved when he made a call for tolerance for all religions during a speech on Tuesday evening. Stating that Muslims also have a right to freedom of religion, he said being allowed this freedom helped people feel more welcome in society. He held up the Queen’s visit to the mosque as an example of tolerance in action.

Wilders said he was “irritated purple” at the Queen’s decision not to shake hands with men at the mosque. “The Queen and Prime Minister Balkenende are putting Dutch norms and values in a bargain sale. Particularly now that the behaviour of the Queen is being presented by the Prime Minister as an example of tolerance,” Wilders said.

The MP said the Queen and Balkenende are far too tolerant while the number of mosques in the Netherlands is fast increasing and more imams are coming here. “We must instead make the case for Dutch norms and values”, Wilders said.
