Nazis back SPCK over Qur’an

The fascists have caught up with the news that the SPCK (Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge) has decided to remove the Qur’an from sale in its bookshops:

“This is only logical, as I have been inside Islamic bookshops which have sprung up like toadstools in Britain’s inner cities, and not once have I seen a Bible on display. Islam has a clear agenda – to proselytize and conquer…. The move is good news both for the vast majority of Britons who still claim to be Christian and the secular Britons who fear the growing Islamification of our islands.”

Anti-Nazis humiliate the BNP in Dagenham

UAF demoAn attempt by the fascist British National Party (BNP) to hold a racist rally in Dagenham, east London, ended in its humiliation last Saturday.

Despite extensive leafleting in the borough, the Nazis only managed to attract around 70 people to their rally – and they were surrounded by over 400 anti-fascist protesters chanting slogans and jeering at them.

The anti-Nazi counter demonstration, called by Unite Against Fascism, drew a large, vibrant and diverse crowd of local residents, trade unionists, students and anti-racist activists. East London trade unions were particularly visible on the Unite demonstration, with banners from local branches of the GMB, T&G, RMT, PCS, NUT and Unison unions.

Richard Barnbrook, the leader of the BNP’s 12-strong council group in Barking & Dagenham, struggled to make himself heard to the small crowd gathered in a car park near Dagenham civic centre. His words were drowned out by the chorus of anger and derision from anti-fascists. The BNP supporters eventually filed away, visibly downcast and uncomfortable.

Rise in rape charges? Blame it on Muslims

“There has been an explosive increase in the number of rape charges in the city of Oslo, but both the media and the authorities consistently refuse to tell us why. They did do so, however, in 2001, when two out of Norway’s three largest newspapers, Aftenposten and Dagbladet, reported that most of these rape charges involve an immigrant perp, which again mostly means Muslims…. The reported number of rapes in Oslo is now six – 6! – times as high per capita as in New York City, yet the media keeps warning against Islamophobia.”

Blair speech provokes ‘debate’ on the Sun’s website

On 7 December the Sun reported Blair’s now notorious speech on integration, multiculturalism and Muslims under the headline “PM: Immigrants must conform”. A discussion on the Sun‘s website provides an appalling but enlightening insight into the sort of bigotry that Blair’s speech has encouraged and legitimised.

Typical comments read:

“What the hell happened? The same man who has let immigration and PC Loonies spiral out of control is now saying people need to respect the Brit way of life?”

“WHAT IS THIS FOOL UP TO? It’s too late now. You let them all in. It’s all talk as usual. The damage has been done, and his multicultural experiment has failed.”

“Be tolerant or not become part of British society? Most foreigners don’t want to be part of our society anyway, you prat. They just come here and form their own societies anyway, they don’t give a toss about British society.”

“Britain is a Christian culture; those of other cultures who do not want to accept this should not attempt to immigrate here or if here now should leave and return to where they can exercise their culture as they wish.”

“President Blair should have been saying this 10 years ago… we are now almost a muslim state!!!”

“Blair’s rambling speech was a feeble and pathetic u turn on the multi culti experiment that has gone from bad to worse…. So different then from the previous speeches on the benefits and ‘enrichment’ of immigration we have endured for the past nine years. Blair will not go into the history books as one of the world’s leading statesmen as his ego craves, but will instead be remembered as Britain’s worst political leader and the man who sold out his own people by turning the UK into an Island outpost for criminals and the dregs of humanity from every poor third world country on the globe.”

“… fact is that you cannot be a good muslim if you do not support jihad. It is mentioned several times in the Koran. An this superior attitude and many other offensive ideologies are the basis of the hadith. Which in my opinion is the muslim ‘mien kampf’ a Nazi style book…it Tells Muslims to not mix with unclean peoples like Christians or Jews and to kill them were they will not subdjigate to Islam or conform to shariah.”

“Read up on the muslim sites and see how radical they are!! especially, as they want to make the UK a state of Islam.”

“… there is no such thing as a moderate muslim, if you don’t follow islam you are the enemy and must be destroyed. islam is a modern plage that needs to be stopped.”

Fascists applaud Blair speech on multiculturalism

Nazi scum“The Prime Minister’s latest utterance on the thorny issue of race relations looks like he has been watching copies of speeches made by Nick Griffin, BNP Leader and he looks as if he is backing a motion which was passed by a large majority at the BNP Annual Conference, two weeks ago, in which is was agreed that public wearing of Islamic headdress which covers much of the face, thereby preventing identification, should be proscribed….

“It all sounds much too little, much too late to make any real difference but at least Blair has vindicated the message of the BNP, a message gaining ground in areas where New Labour has abandoned its former support base.”

Anti-fascists to unite in battle against BNP in Dagenham

Stop the Nazi BNPAnti-fascist campaigners and trade unionists called on the people of east London to mobilise against the racist British National Party’s (BNP) plans to hold a public demonstration in Dagenham on Saturday. Organised by Unite Against Facism (UAF), trade unionists, anti-fascists and anti-racist groups will assemble at 1pm at the Civic Centre in Dagenham.

In May this year, the BNP gained 12 seats on the Barking and Dagenham Council. It has whipped up racist lies against black, ethnic minority and immigrant communities in the area. This includes pushing the false claim that the area’s housing shortage is the fault of the local black community. In the last five years since the BNP has been targeting the borough, racist attacks have increased against black and ethnic minority people.

Dagenham Labour MP Jon Cruddas warned that the BNP was “seeking to divide us and we should resist them by joining together against a party based upon fascism and racism. I believe this counter-mobilisation is very important to show we represent the majority – our multicultural and multifaith society.”

University College Union (UCU) joint general secretary Paul Mackney vowed that his union would fight the BNP across Britain’s colleges and universities. “It is very disturbing to see that they now feel able to parade their racist poison in public spaces. UCU is fully behind this peaceful opposition to the BNP,” the staunch anti-racism campaigner added.

Bikini march sparks retort

Muslims, socialists, unions and other groups will conduct a counter-rally against bikini protesters who plan to march on a Brunswick mosque on Saturday. Police will monitor the demonstrations, with white supremacists claiming to have infiltrated bikini protest ranks, increasing the potential for confrontation.

Organisers of the “Great Australian Bikini March” had planned to march against the Michael St mosque last Saturday, anniversary of the Cronulla riots in NSW. Though the bikini march has been postponed until Australia Day next year, some supporters say they will still hold the rally on Saturday. The march has been promoted on white supremacist websites.

In response, the Islamic Information and Support Centre and the Socialist Party Australia are organising a barbecue and mosque open day for Saturday at the same time.

David T gets something right shock

BNP Islam Out of BritainYes, it does occasionally happen. Over at Harry’s Place, David T quite rightly urges support for Saturday’s important Unite Against Fascism rally in Dagenham against the fascist British National Party.

What attracts the attention of this blog, however, is the response of Harry’s Place readers to David T’s proposal, which is almost uniformly and sometimes rabidly hostile. It’s all well and good to support an anti-racist rally, but David T should ask himself this – what role is his website in fact playing in relation to the growth of racism if it attracts vicious anti-Muslim bigots and outright fascist sympathisers like these?

Australian mosque to get police guard for bikini rally

Lakemba mosquePolice have been asked to protect Australia’s largest mosque next weekend because of concerns that a bikini march staged to coincide with the anniversary of the Cronulla riots may get out of control.

The caretaker of Lakemba Mosque, the Lebanese Muslim Association, says it is taking no risks, requesting at least 32 police officers to protect the place of worship on Saturday and Sunday. Association president Tom Zreik said he met police on several occasions to ensure there would be adequate numbers of officers present to defuse problems and arrest troublemakers.

“We are treating this as something that is funny and hilarious but also taking precautions,” Mr Zreika said of the bikini march. “Some people may see this as provocation and the last thing that we want is to see anyone being attacked.”

The organiser, Melbourne grandmother Christine Hawkins, has asked women nationally to dress in bikinis and colourful beachwear and rally outside large mosques to show their disgust at comments by leading Muslim cleric, Sheik Taj el-Din al Hilaly, who likened women to “uncovered meat”. A white supremacist website has promoted the march.

Members of Sydney’s Muslim community began raising their concerns last week, with hundreds joining an internet discussion to find a “peaceful avenue” to protect their mosque.
