Update:  It would appear that the Independent has conceded that Ibrahim Mogra’s views were misrepresented. The title of the article, which originally read “Newcastle’s Muslim stars told: Don’t play in new ‘Wonga’ tops”, has now been amended to “Newcastle’s Muslims faced with shirt dilemma over Wonga”.
