ENGAGE draws our attention to a report in the Enfield Independent that Edmonton Islamic Centre was one of the mosques targeted in a hate mail campaign involving packages containing a suspicious white powder (see here, here and here). The Metropolitan Police are quoted as saying that the packages have been sent to mosques in London, Dorset, Merseyside, Sussex and Gloucestershire.
