BNP leader Michael Coleman has appeared in court on racism charges. The former councillor will go on trial accused of causing racial harassment over a seven-month period. It is understood the allegations relate to comments made on the defendant’s website.
The 45-year-old lost his Meir North seat on Stoke-on-Trent City Council in last May’s elections. But Coleman remains the controversial party’s chief organiser in the city and presented an award to Stoke-on-Trent’s BNP activist of the year during a Christmas party last December.
The BNP today refused to confirm whether Coleman’s party membership had been suspended. Asked about Coleman’s court appearance, BNP national spokesman Simon Darby said: “I’m not interested.”
Coleman, of Caverswall Road, Weston Coyney, denied two charges of racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress caused by words or writing between August 2011 and March when he appeared at North Staffordshire Magistrates’ Court. He requested a crown court trial.
Coleman’s case will be committed to Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on May 24.
Though it’s unclear which of Coleman’s racist statements led to criminal charges, it is not difficult to find the most sickening comments about the Muslim community on his website, the Stoke Patriot.
In February, for example, Coleman explained that the objective of a BNP demonstration in Hyde was to “expose and condemn the relentless persecution of the indigenous population of that town by the local Muslim/Asian community” including the “raping and prostituting of English girls”. He continued:
The beating of young English men of the town by Muslim gangs is most significant as it confirms the presence of the radical Islamic inspired ‘Street Jihad Intifada’ (holy street war) in that area. Many of you will be unaware that the radical Islamic’s who are living in our country (usually associated with Central Mosques) have been inciting young Muslim men to attack young English men with the intention to spread fear of Islam within the non-Islamic community, to oppress (using violence) and to defeat the English community (all of this aided and abetted, funded and covered up by all institutions of the enemy/traitor establishment – police, courts, media, council’s etc.).
Earlier that month, when nine young Muslim extremists were imprisoned over an inept plan to set fire to the London Stock Exchange, Coleman wrote:
Its quite boring to see the local Imams dragged out of the local Mosques and stood in front of camera only to tell the boobs in TV land the the local Muslim community condemns these these ‘violent thugs’. All of this propaganda is so false, so stupid, only the most naive and retarded white boobs are actually swallowing this crap.
The fact is that opinion polls (undertaken by dozens of independent organisations, including the British Security Services) of Muslims in Britain tell us time and time again that 10% of that population ‘strongly’ support terrorist action against Britain and America and 40% ‘have warm feelings’ for Muslim terrorists! This is the bomb shell of truth that we all need to believe, we are talking here of more than a million Muslims here in Britain who ‘tacitly’ support acts of violence against the ‘state’!
It is this terrible truth that sets the intelligent and responsible mind running, thinking of the future, wondering what our beloved homeland will be like in 100 years when the Muslim population outnumbers the indigenous British population – what is the future for our children and grandchildren under the new, powerful Muslim overlords?
Coleman concluded:
I don’t accept that the Muslim community are British. These people – are not my people, not my flesh, not my culture – they (by their own admission and protestations) are very different, very foreign, to my mind. I don’t accept the enemy/traitor political programme of enforced integration of vast numbers of Muslims onto my island. I reject (respectfully, for now) the presence of these foreign invaders upon my sacred isle.
Last December after two men, Simon Beech and Garreth Foster, were jailed for setting fire to a Stoke mosque in an attempt to blow it up, Coleman expressed his sympathies with these violent racists, describing them as “patriotic Britons”:
I have no doubt that those organisations who have conspired to insert the ‘Super-Power Mosque’ in Regent Road, Stoke-on-Trent are aware that this is a flagrant and hostile act against the culture/faith/territory interests of my people! It was inevitable that this treacherous and destructive act would have resulted in the people of Stoke-on-Trent becoming angry and frustrated….
The people of Stoke-on-Trent aren’t stupid, they know what happens when a Muslim Central Mosque is built in an area – it is the precursor to the total Muslim occupation of that area and the inevitable ‘forcing out’ of the indigenous/ancestral folk – all of this monstrous ‘population replacement’ will be aided and assisted by the Labour Council, security will be provided by the police (should any of the Stokies speak out and object)!
… Although I cannot sanction the violent actions of the two young men who were found guilty (three days ago) of attempting to blow the Mosque up (by filling it full of gas, then igniting the gas), I have to be honest and admit that I understand and share the anger that must have been in their hearts as they witnessed this Mosque been built in their city.
One of these young men was a British Soldier whose regiment is currently serving in Afghanistan. I’m sure many reading this blog will sympathise with that soldier, understanding as we do that he will have witnessed his fellow soldiers being brought back to Britain in body-bags after being killed by violent Muslim’s (al-Qaeda) in that country, and yet here in Stoke-on-Trent (just a mile from his home) he was seeing a huge Muslim Mosque being built in his city, courtesy of the Labour council! One can only guess at the sense of betrayal and confusion that this young man must have endured.
I consider that the ten years imprisonment given to this young man is excessive, its too much. Such a sentence is clearly a political one, indicating that the anti-British class are fully in control of our courts – which means that patriotic Britons (in fact anyone who opposes the enforced foreign occupation of our island) cannot expect a fair trial.
Coleman’s bigotry is not confined to the Muslim community, nor does he hesitate to express it in explicitly racial terms. In one blog post last September he denounced Stoke’s Labour Party for implementing a “Red Socialist plot” that involved “the flooding of our city with Muslims and Blacks (in fact a complete population replacement programme – darkies in, whities out!)”. He went on to identify “the darkie riots in London and other major English cities” along with “the imminent conflict between insurgent Islam and the non-Islamic resistance” as factors that would produce “cracks within the system of the tyranny” being imposed on the West (and on Stoke-on-Trent in particular).
