Boykin: Go to Dearborn, Michigan and ‘you would think you were in Beirut or Damascus’

Over the weekend, Jerry Boykin was interviewed on a radio program out of Bakersfield, California ahead of a scheduled appearance at a local church early next week where he will undoubtedly promote his anti-Islam conspiracy theories.

During the interview, Boykin warned that every serious Muslim was determined to enshrine Sharia wherever they lived and that they were making great progress in establishing it in America. This prompted one of the co-hosts to ask Boykin about Dearborn, Michigan which he claimed was “almost one hundred percent Muslim and operating under Sharia law now,” a statement with which Boykin agreed, adding that “if you walk down the streets, you would think you were in Beirut or Damascus”.

EDL responds to Harry’s Place ‘call to action’ against Muslim conference

Where does the English Defence League get its ideological inspiration from? Well, obviously from the likes of Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller, with whom the EDL is jointly organising the launch of a “worldwide counter-jihad alliance” in Stockholm in August.

However, the international counterjihad movement is not the only source of inspiration for the EDL. They also take their cue from the terrorism-supporting Zionist blog Harry’s Place, as is shown by their enthusiastic response to a “call to action” against a so-called “jihadist conference” in London next month, posted at HP by Hasan Afzal of British Muslims for Israel.

Amazon makes money selling Islamophobic ebooks

Prophet Muhammad Monster of HistoryAmazon has been accused of making money selling offensive, racist and potentially dangerous ebooks on subjects ranging from bomb-making to drug growing.

The internet giant sells a vast number of ebooks, downloaded by readers from its website, some for as little as £1. It allows anyone to upload an ebook for sale, without safeguards against content that would be refused by traditional publishers.

One ebook, Prophet Muhammad: Monster of History, includes images of a Koran being burned and a woman being hanged. The author, Jake Neuman, says of its content on his own website: “The writings contained in this book are now illegal in most Western countries.” But users of amazon.co.uk can access his work at the click of a mouse.

Arab men and women agree on role of Islam

After the Arab UprisingsSurveys of Muslims in the Middle East and North Africa indicate they mostly agree Islam should serve as a source of legislation but not be the only source.

Multiple surveys conducted by Gallup showed the majority of women and men in their respective countries agree on Islam’s place in developing laws. Opinions on the issue vary depending on the country, but in each most of the men and women share the same beliefs. People who say they believe Islamic law should have no role in legislation are a small minority in every country.

The surveys also indicate religious Arabs are more likely to support the right of women to initiate divorce than non-religious Arabs. Data indicate 69 percent of religious Arabs said a woman should have the right to initiate a divorce, while 46 percent of non-religious Arabs agreed.
